Uncapped Business ADSL
Flashnet has developed an uncapped Business ADSL service, enabling the client to download and/or upload as much as the client requires. Over and above this, the client is issued with a static (fixed) IP address to overcome the limitations associated with dynamically (randomly) issued IP addresses. This enhancement enables the client to maintain a fixed IP address for their e-mail server, web server and any other servers requiring a fixed IP address.

Capped ADSL
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a technology for transmitting digital information at a high bandwidth on existing phone lines to homes and businesses. Unlike regular dial up phone service, ADSL provides continuously-available, "always-on" connection. ADSL is asymmetric in that it uses most of the channel to transmit downstream to the user and only a small part to receive information from the user. ADSL simultaneously accommodates analogue (voice) information on the same line. ADSL is generally offered at downstream data rates from 192Kbps to 1Mbps in South Africa.
