Flashnet ADSL MPLS
Unlike a regular dialup phone service, ADSL provides a continuously available always on connection. This advantage of having an always on technology means that there are no time-related charges, as your computer or network is permanently connected to your corporate network through your ADSL router.
Currently there are several connectivity methods used to access the Flashnet MPLS network (Diginet, ISDN, Dialup...). ADSL therefore joins the above list.
Benefits of having Flashnet ADSL MPLS:
Higher bandwidth (compared with ISDN or modem access) allows you to connect to your corporate VPN and download documents, email and web pages more quickly, and view or send real time audio and video (for example for teleconferencing or video conferencing), or quickly transfer large files.
Unlike Analogue and ISDN lines, ADSL incurs no call charges. Just a set-up and fixed monthly bandwidth charges.
The downstream bandwidth is higher (up to 1024Kbps) than the upstream (256 Kbps).
High security as the connection is encrypted to the MPLS VPN and if required internet connectivity is forced through the corporate firewall.
